　Folic acid, a water-soluble vitamin, is a impotrant nutrient throughout life which related to the development in the fetus, anemia, cardiovasucular diseases and dementia. We have investigated metabolic regulation and physiological function of folic acid, aiming to present the importance of folate-intake based on the scientific evidence.
